About the Facility

The Anna Meares Velodrome, named after Australia's celebrated cyclist, is a premier indoor cycling facility located within the Sleeman Sports Complex. Constructed in 2016, the velodrome features a 250-meter track made from hand-laid Serbian pine, ensuring optimal performance for athletes. The venue is designed to host a wide range of events, from international cycling competitions to community sports and private functions.

Key Features

The seating capacity inside The velodrome can accommodate 1,500 spectators, with the potential to expand to approximately 3,500 with additional external seating.

Infield Space
A versatile 80m x 40m area with polyurethane flooring suitable for multiple uses, including three futsal courts or one International court and space for banquet dinners or cocktail events (1,500 guests for cocktails or 500 for banquets).

Badminton Courts
Three double courts are available for casual hire on Level 3, each meeting standard dimensions for doubles play.

Additional Amenities

The venue is equipped with broadcast-quality LED lighting, a state-of-the-art netting system for multipurpose use, and large fans for temperature regulation.

Onsite parking, a Swiss Timing System, and a video display board are included in hire packages.

Catering services are provided exclusively by Australian Catering Services, ensuring high-quality food and beverage options for all events.
