Sleeman Sports Complex

Sleeman Sports Complex, located in Chandler, Brisbane, is a multi-purpose sporting facility that was established for the 1982 Commonwealth Games. Named after former Brisbane Lord Mayor Frank Sleeman, the complex includes a range of venues and amenities designed for various sports.

Brisbane Aquatic Centre

Since its opening in 1982, the Centre has hosted many swimming, diving, waterpolo and artistic swimming events, making it a popular destination for aquatic sports. It recently hosted the 2024 Australian Olympic and Paralympic Swimming Trials.

Anna Meares Velodrome

Opened in 2016 and utilised for Track Cycling in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth games, the venue has a 250m track. The venue accommodates international, national, and local competitions. It also features an international-sized futsal court for use by local clubs.

Brisbane International SX Track

The track was built in 2011, with upgrades in 2023 and is the premier venue for BMX events in Brisbane. Hosting many state, national and international competitions & events along with providing pathways for up and coming high performance athletes.

Chandler Theatre

Originally opened for weightlifting during the 1982 Commonwealth Games, this adaptable venue now hosts a wide range of performances and community events.

Chandler Arena

Home to the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League from 1984 to 1986, the arena witnessed the team’s first championship victory. It also hosted the Queensland Firebirds from 1997 to 2008 and continues to support various sports groups and events.

Chandler Outdoor Velodrome

Initially built for the 1982 Commonwealth Games, this venue was used for track cycling and concerts but is currently no longer in operation.

Opened in 2020, this state-of-the-art facility is the only dedicated winter sports training facility in the southern hemisphere, named after former Olympic representative Geoff Henke.
