Quick Tips

The 2025 Australian Age and Open Championships hosted by Swimming Australia, will take place in the Brisbane Aquatic Centre at Sleeman Sports Complex, from April 10 to 24, featuring both age and open-level swimming athletes.

Come and watch Australia’s up and coming swimmers at our Age Championships as well as Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls in our Open’s.

Tickets are available via Ticketek and must be purchased for set days and times. Head over to the Swimming Australia website for more information about session times.

There will be free parking at Sleeman Sports Complex for this event. Car park 1, 2 and 3 will be available for both athletes and spectators. There is no public parking available on Chandler or Sleeman Road. Parking is subject to availability and limited.

There are three main entrances to the Sleeman Sports Complex:
Tilley Road 1 (Main Entrance)
Tilley Road 2
Old Cleveland Road

Public transport is available to and from the venue. Translink operates various services to and from Sleeman Sports Complex. The bus stop is located at the northern end of the Complex on the Ring Road outside car park 3. Plan your journey on Translink today.

Accessible seats are available in the following stands:

Eastern Stand
Row I – Section 2 – Seats 1-4
Row I – Section 4 – Seats 5-8
Row I – Section 6 – Seats 9-12

Western Stand
Row I – Section 9 – Seats 1-4
Row I – Section 11 – Seats 5-9
Row I – Section 13 – Seats 10-14

Head over to the Ticketek website to find out more. Availability and the type of seating will vary. Patrons will need to complete the Accessible Seating Form on the Ticketek website and Ticketek will contact you to process your booking.

Accessible Parking – Car Park 2 & 3 will be available for parking. Security can be called for transport from the car parks to the Brisbane Aquatic Centre if needed.

Please note: Chandler Road not in use for PWD at this event.

Random bag checks will be conducted upon entry.

Soft eskies over 40cm x 40cm x 40cm are not permitted
No banners/flags permitted
No external commercial food
Homemade food, bottled water with an unbroken factory seal (up to 1.25L personal quantities only) in plastic bottles and tea and coffee in a thermos are permitted. Other liquids are not permitted. Patrons can bring in empty water bottles which can be filled with water at the designated water stations in the venue.

Arena swimwear will be available to purchase throughout the duration of the event on Level 4. Arena is recognised as one of the premium brands of high-quality swimwear.

Food and beverage is available for sale at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre café next to reception. Additional concession stand will be operating on Level 4 of the Aquatic Centre.

Homemade food, bottled water with an unbroken factory seal (up to 1.25L personal quantities only) in plastic bottles and tea and coffee in a thermos are permitted.

Sleeman Sports Complex is excited to host the 2025 Australian Age and MC Age Championships and the 2025 Australian Open Championships at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre this April.

During this time, we are committed to keeping as many spaces open for public swimming as possible. However, we understand that the limited pool availability may impact our regular patrons' swim schedules.
