The Brisbane Aquatic Centre is proud to welcome the 2026 Water Polo Queensland State Titles back to Brisbane, and this year they're back bigger than ever. Queensland's top clubs, schools as well as visiting interstate teams will battle it out for state honours.

Quick Tips

The 2026 Water Polo Queensland State Titles returns to the Brisbane Aquatic Centre. This year there are more than 145 teams coming together from across the state, and proudly welcoming visiting teams from New South Wales, Victoria and New Zealand. The WPQ State Titles enriches the experience of athletes, coaches and officials and reflects the growing reputation of this event as one of the premier junior water polo tournaments in Australasia.

Running alongside the State Titles this year are the Griffith University Queensland Thunder's Australian Water Polo League home games, giving developing athletes the opportunity to watch elite level performance.

This event will be broken into a Week 1 and Week 2 format:
Week 1 | 12-15 January 2026: 18 and under,  14 and under age groups
Week 2 | 17-20 January 2026: 16 and under, 12 and under age groups

Australian Water Polo League (AWL) games will also take place over the 10 days.

The best car parking will be available in Car Park 3. With accessible parking available in Car Park 2 and 3. If you require further assistance getting from your parked vehicle to the venue please contact Aquatic Reception on (07) 3131 9620.

There will be free parking at Sleeman Sports Complex for this event. Car park 1, 2 and 3 will be available for both athletes and spectators. Parking is subject to availability and limited.

There are three main entrances to the Sleeman Sports Complex:

Tilley Road 1 (Main Entrance)
Tilley Road 2
Old Cleveland Road

Public transport is available to and from the venue. Translink operates various services to and from Sleeman Sports Complex. The bus stop is located at the northern end of the Complex on the Ring Road outside car park 3. Plan your journey on Translink today.

Accessible seating is available for this event. Please chat to the ushers upon arrival and they will assist with finding the best seat for you.

There is limited accessibility parking at the Sleeman Sports Complex for patrons. These spaces are taken on a first come, first served basis. The PWD car parks are located in Car Park 2 and Car Park 3

  • Soft eskies over 40cm x 40cm x 40cm are not permitted
  • No banners/flags permitted
  • No external commercial food
  • Homemade food, bottled water, tea and coffee in a thermos are permitted. Other liquids are not permitted.

Food and beverage is available for sale at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre café next to reception. Additional concession stand will be operating on Level 4 of the Aquatic Centre. View the table below for the opening hours of the different food outlets.

Homemade food, bottled water with an unbroken factory seal (up to 1.25L personal quantities only) in plastic bottles and tea and coffee in a thermos are permitted.
