No, this is a free, non-ticketed event. Spectators are welcome to come along and watch athletes from around the world compete.

Athletes may warm up in the designated Ring Road zones only. Bikes must not be ridden outside these areas. Please follow all signage and staff directions.

Spectators are not permitted to set up marquees along the track. AusCycling will provide tents and marquees for spectator viewing.

Clubs may set up marquees in designated zones only. Bump-in is permitted on Friday 20 February between 2:00pm and 6:00pm during registrations.

*All tents MUST be weighted down with a minimum of 20kgs per leg. 

Yes. Pre-event training sessions will be held and are split by age group.

  • Friday 20 February: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Saturday 21 February: 8:00am – 1:00pm
  • Sunday 22 February: 7:00am – 10:15am

Yes. Car Parks 2 and 3 will be open. Parking is expected to be very busy, so we strongly encourage ride-sharing, carpooling, or being dropped off. If driving, please allow extra time to find a space. Our friendly parking attendants will be on site to assist where possible.

Yes. Large water coolers are permitted under club tents/marquees, in line with hard esky conditions.

Factory-sealed water bottles are also permitted.

No. The venue does not provide marquee weights.

Local retailers (such as Bunnings Capalaba) sell fillable marquee weights that can be filled with water.

Yes. Home-packed lunches are permitted, provided they are not commercially packaged takeaway food (e.g. McDonald’s, Domino’s). A variety of food and beverage outlets will be operating throughout the event.

Chairs, bikes, and tents are not permitted within the BMX track area. Hard eskies, alcohol, and glass items are also prohibited. Any restricted items will need to be returned to your vehicle.

Only registered companion animals wearing their official vest are permitted. All other pets must be left at home and will not be allowed into event spaces.

No cloaking rooms will be available. Please leave any non-essential items in your car or at home.

No hard eskies are permitted trackside when spectating.

Hard eskies are permitted for athlete use under club tents/marquees only.

There will be a range of food options available, including coeliac-safe and dairy-free items.

However, if you have specific dietary requirements, you are welcome to bring your own home-prepared food (non-commercially packaged).

There may be a maximum rider capacity for sessions.
